Joint Statement from the 24th BIMP-EAGA Ministerial Meeting

Ministers of the Brunei Darussalam–Indonesia–Malaysia–Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) issued a joint statement at their 24th meeting held virtually via Zoom on 11 October 2021.
The ministers who issued the statement were:
- Dato Seri Paduka Dr. Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Brunei Darussalam;
- Dr. Edi Prio Pambudi, Acting Deputy Minister for International Economic Cooperation, Coordinating Ministry of Economi c Affairs;
- Dato' Sri Mustapa Bin Mohamed, Minister in Prime Minister's Department (Economy), Malaysia; and
- Abdulgani Macatoman, Undersecretary/Deputy Minister for Special Concerns and Trade Promotions, Department of Trade and Industry, Philippines.
Macatoman chaired the meeting, which discussed the status of projects, initiatives, and key deliverables outlined in the BIMP-EAGA Vision 2025 as well as joint measures to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
