At their 12th meeting, transport ministers noted progress in the implementation of priority infrastructure projects and underscored the need for enhanced coordination between the transport and trade facilitation sectors.
The ministers meet annually to track progress in improving transport connectivity in the subregion. Over the years, BIMP-EAGA has seen land, sea, and air connectivity improve by building much-needed infrastructure and by implementing key measures that eased the movement of goods and people within the subregion.
