2020 BIMP-EAGA Strategic Planning Meeting and Senior Officials Retreat

The Philippines is hosting the 2020 BIMP-EAGA Strategic Planning Meeting (SPM) on 25 to 28 March and the Senior Officials Retreat on 29 March in Coron, Palawan.

With Malaysia as technical chair, the 2020 SPM will assess the progress made by the clusters and working groups in implementing the Vision 2025 strategy and action plan over the last 3 years. It will also identify priority programs, projects, and convergence initiatives for the year.

The results of this year’s SPM will provide inputs to the mid-term review and assessment of Vision 2025 targets and achievements in 2021.

The SPM is an annual activity of BIMP-EAGA where technical focal persons, development partners, and other stakeholders from member-countries Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines participate.
